It’s the final day of the Annual General Meeting of the Association of Caribbean Commissioners of Police (ACCP) in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad.
I extend special commendation to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, led by Police Commissioner Earla Christopher, on successfully hosting the event this year.
It’s been a pleasure supporting the Haitian Police Commissioner and his delegation to ensure their full and active participation in the deliberations. Certainly the Police Nationale d’Haïti (PNH) have their hands full with the current security situation in Port-au-Prince 🇭🇹 They, like the rest of their Caribbean counterparts, are honouring their oath to protect and serve with pride.
Added to the honour of providing interpreting services for the Haitian delegation, it was wonderful to sit in the room with two recently appointed female Commissioners of Police. In years gone by, there were no women around the table. This year there are two. Félicitations!
Once again Interpreting Your Needs was present for a milestone moment in our Caribbean history!
